Compeer is a national mentoring program hosted by MHA that serves the needs of those dealing with mental health issues (or who have a guardian dealing with Mental health issues). Currently we are recruiting mentors for our Compeer Lunch Buddy program. Volunteers are trained in mentoring and mental health before they are matched with a student. Once matched, they spend at least one hour a week at the student's school during lunch/recess. Step up and provide a child with a positive role model, mentor, and caring friend; be a Lunch Buddy and make a difference for you and them.
