As a volunteer at the Citadel Food Pantry, you will assist clients as they receive food from our commodities and pantry programs. This requires walking with clients and lifting groceries. Volunteers will assist clients out to their vehicles to load their groceries.

Location: Citadel Corps at 1739 Elpyco St.

Is this your first time helping? First, make sure you have signed up through Better Impact. When you arrive for your shift, you will report to the smaller metal building and may park in the main parking lot that has a fence around it. Background checks are required for those completing court ordered hours.

Help unload the food bank delivery at 1910 S Everett St. on alternating Tuesdays.

As a volunteer at the West Orchard Food Pantry, you will assist clients as they receive food from our commodities and pantry programs. This requires walking with clients and lifting groceries. Volunteers will assist clients out to their vehicles to load their groceries.

Location: West Orchard Corps at 1910 S Everett St.

Shifts: Tuesdays and Thursdays. 9:00am-12:00pm and 12:30-2:15pm.

Our disaster team, made up of community volunteers, provides care to individuals impacted by disasters. We also serve first responders and emergency workers. EDS volunteers can choose to respond to local, regional, national disasters, and even global disasters.

Training is required and provided for those who are interested in serving. Must be 18.
