Volunteer: Volunteer with Open Streets ICT in the Shocker Neighborhood

Join the Community Service Board volunteering with Open Streets ICT in our Shocker Neighborhood. Volunteers will help with making sure that the event goes off smoothly and could include; meeting with vendors, helping with registration and check-in, street maintenance and more.  Volunteer shifts will take place in two hour time increments from 12:00-5:00 p.m. You are welcome to sign-up for one or for all!

Join the Community Service Board serving dinner at the Lord’s Diner. The Lord’s Diner provides a free meal seven days a week, 365 days a year. Duties may include serving food, busing dishes, refilling drinks, dining hall clean-up, and washing dishes. Please wear closed-toed shoes and pants.

Volunteers will help with sorting and organizing food that will be distributed throughout Kansas through various initiatives offered by the Kansas Food Bank. Volunteer: Wu's Big Event-Spring 2026

Join us for WSU’s largest one day volunteer event!  Join your fellow Shockers for a morning of volunteering throughout our community.  Individuals, groups, organizations, students, staff and faculty are all invited to attend! Check-in for Wu's Big Event will be from 8:30 to 8:50 a.m. The kick-off will begin in the Beggs Ballroom, located on the third floor of the Rhatigan Student Center at 9 a.m. with a lite breakfast, and kick-off celebration. Participants will then load the buses and be at a service site by 10 a.m. Volunteers will work until 12 p.m. and return to the Beggs Ballroom for lunch and closing festivities. The event will end by 1:30 p.m. Transportation to and from Service Sites is provided. Light Breakfast, lunch, water, and t-shirt also provided.
