Tanganyika Wildlife Park--Project #2, Morning Shift

Description

Assist in facillitating interactions between animals and guests at several of the Park's Animal Encounter stations. Each volunteer will be paired with a Tanganyika staff member or a trained volunteer. Duties may include explaining exhibit guidelines to guests, monitoring flow into or out of the exhibit, answering guest questions and monitoring guest interactions with the animals. A short training will take place at the beginning of each shift to familarize volunteers with the Park and their assigned tasks. Encouters at which volunteers may be assist include: Reticulated Giraffe Encounter, Lorikeet Landing, Kangaroo Walkabout and Children's Zoo.

Please wear closed-toe shoes, denim or khaki pants/capris/shorts (5-inch inseam minimum) and your Youth Days of Caring shirt.

Please bring a sack lunch. Concessions are also available.
