Andover Augusta Rail Trail Initiative

Andover August Rail Trail Initiative (AARTI) is an advocate, developer/fundraiser, and caretaker of the Redbud Trail from 159th St. East (Butler Cty. line) to Andover. We are in the process of completing the final 4 miles across Highway 54/400 and on to Augusta.

AARTI spends the most time taking care of the trail - vegetation maintenance mostly - in partnership with the City of Andover. The 2nd Saturday of every month (weather permitting) is designated as a maintenance day. We do light trimming on a section of the trail for 2-3 hours. This activity is where we need the most help. The event is posted on Facebook the week of the planned activity. Location varies.
