Neighborhood Cleanup Program

Who We Are

The Neighborhood Cleanup Program provides a City-funded event to dispose of bulky waste for eligible neighborhoods. These cleanups represent an annual opportunity (Saturday mornings from April to October) for neighborhoods to organize themselves and improve the conditions of their surroundings. These events occur from from 8 am to noon (except for holidays).

  • Neighborhoods are responsible for getting volunteers, disseminating information to neighbors, and organizing the event.

  • Training is highly recommended for all program participants regardless of past experience.

  • Volunteers are needed! Complete this form https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/f9b4c3c21aa94fad84a7c2ac2e5b82a3 or reach out to District 4 Community Services Representative Brooke Kauchak at neighborhoodcleanups@wichita.gov & 316-268-4197 to learn more!
