Interested in serving those who have served? Volunteers needed to help Veterans and hospital staff.
The ideal volunteer will have a pleasant attitude and a willingness to help others.
- Need to listen to families and visitors and assist them while they navigate their way around the hospital. Don’t worry we will make sure you are an expert way-finder.
- Move and transport samples and other medical supplies inside and around the hospital. This is very light duty (usually less than 5 pounds) but you will have a chance to connect with patients and staff a like.
- Some Veterans are wheelchair bound and just need a little assistance. So if you can push a wheelchair on a flat surface you can brighten a Veterans day.
