We are looking for volunteers to help us engage the community during this year's National Night Out in Goddard. We will be running various activities with the use of our impaired driving goggles, serving mocktails, and engaging the community of Goddard in conversations that illicit personal accountability and integrity around our decisions behind the wheel.
Looking for 1 person to run the booth, 1 person to run the impaired driving goggles/corn hole station, and 1 person to help make the mocktails (super easy recipes, no experience required). Our Engagement Director, Cheyenne Waller, will be there with all volunteers.
The DUI VCK will be there at 4:45 pm to start setting up. Volunteers are welcome to arrive early to help with set up. The event itself is from 6-9pm. Volunteers are also welcome to help break down the booth afterwards, but this is not a requirement.
Come join us (the DUI Victims Center of Kansas), the Goddard Police Department, Goddard Chamber of Commerce, as well as other law enforcement agencies, local businesses, and organizations for the annual Goddard National Night Out. Some of the highlights include a helicopter landing, a display of many emergency vehicles, a dunk tank, music, and much more! In addition, a number of local businesses will be on hand with fun activities and FREE Walking Tacos, Watermelon and Water! We will have a booth with some fun activities and swag!
