This is a partnership with the Pando Initiative and the Community Service Board called Reality U. This event gives middle school students a chance to step into the shoes of a 28-year-old, with a career, family, and financial responsibilities in a simulation of adulthood. As they walk through a series of booths, manned by community volunteers, the students make financial decisions from car and home purchases to insurance and childcare commitments while trying not to spend more than they can afford. Volunteers are utilized at each booth to assist students in making their purchases and/or selecting a service.
