Positive Directions Inc.

Positive Directions began in Wichita, Kansas in 1991. For the first 25 years, our services were targeted toward HIV positive individuals. Our case management, food pantry, and testing services provided resources to meet the needs of HIV positive community members. In 2016, the mission and vision of Positive Directions shifted to focus solely on HIV prevention. In recent years, our services have expanded to provide a 60 second HIV test, Syphilis testing and Hepatitis C testing all free of charge. Our outreach services aim to connect people with the resources they need to be informed about sexual health, to reduce risky behaviors, and to adopt consistent safer sex practices.

Positive Directions provides free HIV/STI testing, education, and preventative resources. We test all around the community and at our office for HIV, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Hepatitis C, and Syphilis. We also provide condom distribution to 20+ local businesses and organizations to promote safe-sex.
