Derby Recreation Commission

The Derby Recreation Commission vision is to inspire the highest quality of life through exceptional experiences. Our mission is creating happiness and lifelong personal growth. And we believe in serving others, teamwork, driving change, being unique, genuine communication, and embracing community. We have been an established Rec Commission since 1980, and have great partnerships with the City of Derby, USD 260, and other area businesses and organizations.

We serve the Derby and surrounding areas through offering over 1,500 programs a year in 6 core program areas, we operate two fitness facilities, the Hubbard Arts Center, and Rock River Rapids water park.
