Exploration Place, The Sedgwick County Science and Discovery Center, is Kansas’ premier science center, inspiring a deeper interest in science and technology through creative and fun experiences for all. Exploration Place is a mission-driven 501(c)(3) not-for-profit institution supported by admissions, membership dues, public support, and voluntary contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations.

At Exploration Place, volunteers are an integral part of fulfilling our mission and performing a variety of jobs to keep the entire organization on the path to making science fun for everyone! Volunteers participate in activities that enhance your personal growth while serving a valued role to the museum and science education for our guests.
