Who We Are

Doing The Most Good! The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. It's ministry is motivated by the love of God. It's mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

What We Do

The Salvation Army's Emergency Social Services serves low income families and individuals with basic needs on an emergency basis and also through our monthly Commodities Food Distribution Program. Our seasonal programs include back to school supplies, winter clothing distribution and Mission of Hope Christmas assistance.

The Salvation Army's Emergency Disaster Services team provides services to individuals by disaster and emergency workers. This includes food, clothing, and cleanup assistance as well as emergency mobile canteen unit on call 24 hours a day. The canteen is equipped to serve both hot and cold beverages and meals. The Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) team is made up of community volunteers. It is activated on an as needed basis for our local city/county emergency responders.

You can help to meet the crucial need for Volunteers and also to accomplish The Salvation Army Mission by signing up to volunteer today.
