Wichita Walk to End Alzheimer's

The Wichita Walk to End Alzheimer's which has nearly 1,200 participants and raises nearly $220,000. Our Walk is on Friday October 24th we will start to be at the site about. We are needing 100+ volunteers.

We have got a great volunteer opportunity for everyone. We’re looking for passionate and caring volunteers to join us for this year’s Wichita Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This is your chance to make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer’s and dementia, while being part of an inspiring community event.

There are a variety of roles available — from helping with setup, registration, cheering on participants, to making sure the Walk runs smoothly. No matter your role, your time and energy will directly support the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Here is where we need help:

- Setting up the event (Tables, Chairs, Decorations)

-Setting up the 1 mile walk route
- Helping at our two registration and Check in tables.
- Greeters
- Tent/ Booth Attendants
- Thank you Brigade
- Water/ Refreshment Stations
- Cheer Stations along the route
- Work the champions club
- Clean up after the event
- Unload Uhaul after the event.
