Harbor House provides a safe, 24/7 shelter for survivors of domestic abuse and outreach services.
Office assistant volunteers provide support for shelter staff by picking up mail, cleaning, and other office duties.
Volunteers in this position are required to pass a background check and take a 3 hour class called VIRTUS. VIRTUS teaches adults the signs of child abuse and neglect as well as the best practices Catholic Charities follows to protect youth and vulnerable adults in our ministries.
