Description

If you are looking for an opportunity to provide some companionship and make a difference in people's lives, consider volunteering with us!

Companionship with a patient can look like any of the following:

  • Sitting with and talking
  • Reading books, poems or the Bible to them
  • Walking with them
  • Doing a puzzle together
  • Playing Bingo together at a facility
  • Doing a painting or craft together
  • Scribing letters for the patient to family members
  • Playing an instrument for them
  • Listening to music together
  • Watching a show together

Any time spent with them is greatly appreciated by patients and their family. Patient companionship can also provide respite for caregivers, if they need a break to go run errands, get groceries or just have some alone time after caring for their loved one all day.
