Wichita State University: We need your help! Please join us on February 9, 2019 to make a HUGE impact in the Wichita community. Individuals, groups, organizations, faculty, staff, students, alumni, friends, and family are all encouraged to participate.
If you’re volunteering as a member of a group it will be necessary to be on time because you must be physically present to be assigned to a site. After you check in and go through registration please sit with your groups in the ballroom. Volunteers will be dismissed for buses according to their site.
Check-in for this opportunity will run from 8:30 to 8:50 a.m. A kick-off will begin in the Beggs Ballroom (Third Floor of the Rhatigan Student Center) at 9 a.m. with speakers,muffins and coffee, and information about the agencies being served. Participants will then load the buses and be at a service site by 10 a.m. Volunteers will work until 1 p.m. and return to the RSC for lunch (a Chartwells boxed lunch containing sandwich, chips, and fruit) and celebration. The event will end by 2 p.m.
Transportation to and from Service Sites is provided.
Light Breakfast, lunch, water, and t-shirt also provided.
