The Wichita Animal Action League relies on volunteers to fulfill the mission of rescuing animals in crisis. There are dozens of ways to get involved and make a difference in an animal’s life. This could include helping at adoption events, puppy/kitten yoga, microchip clinics for the community, organizing and/or working WAAL's resale shop, helping with administrative tasks, designing flyers, transporting animals to vet appointments, walking dogs, helping with WAAL's annual fundraiser Wags & Whiskers, just to name a few.
We’d love to have you join our life-saving team of “WAAL Warriors.” You must be 18 or older or have a parent/guardian with you at the activity. To get started, fill out a volunteer application: https://waalrescue.org/volunteer/volunteer-application/
Once your application has been approved, you will be contacted with instructions on how to join the private Facebook group for volunteers. This is where WAAL staff communicates with volunteers and opportunities are posted.
