The ideal Volunteer will be kind, empathetic and have a strong desire to help Veterans. Seeking a qualified person to Volunteer a few hours a day a couple days a week. Someone with good phone skills, attention to detail, pleasant people skills, good communication skills, and a pleasant and courteous manner. You will be asked to do a variety of tasks like greeting visitors, filling, sorting, confirming appointments, assist with mailings, and faxing. The receptionist will be asked to interact with patients, families and the community.

Vet Centers are community-based counseling centers that provide a wide range of social and psychological services, including professional readjustment counseling to eligible Veterans.
Our services include counseling for needs such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the psychological effects of military sexual trauma (MST). We can also connect you with more support in VA and your community. All services are strictly confidential.
