Wu’s Mini Events-Join the Community Service Board for Wu’s Mini Events and for a morning of volunteering at 5 separate events taking place on 5 different Saturdays. Join one or join them all! Volunteers will meet in the RSC where we will then depart to our host sites for a morning of volunteering. All volunteers will receive a t-shirt, transportation to and from events and lunch will be provided.
Details of our individual events are as follows:
March 5th- Exploration Place: Join the Community Service Board in a day of service at Exploration Place. Assist in cleaning up graffiti and man-made environmental hazards, around the facility and on facility grounds. Also, in assisting helping keep the facility sanitized and clean for the community.
March 26th- Medical Loan Closet: Join the Community Service Board for a morning of volunteering at the Medical Loan Closet. Volunteers will help prepare donated items to be distributed for free or at reduced costs to individuals who need them.
April 2nd- Sedgwick County Zoo: Join the Community Service Board in a day of service at the zoo.
April 23rd- Larksfield Place: Join the Community Service Board in a day of service at the Larksfield Place.
May 7th- Kansas Humane Society: Join the Community Service Board in a day of service at the Kansas Humane Society. For this event those attending will be assisting in completing the building of an enrichment garden for the animal shelter that was started in our last Wu’s Mini Event.
