The Salvation Army is hosting a fan distribution to help families get relief from the summer heat! We are seeking volunteers to assist in giving away nearly 500 fans. Details are below.
When: Wednesday, June 24th
Time: 8:30 am- 12:30pm (if you are only available for part of the shift, still reach out)
Where: 350 N. Market Street, Salvation Army Area Command building in Downtown Wichita
What to wear: We suggest comfortable clothing and shoes.
What will volunteers do: Volunteers may direct client traffic within the building, assist clients with paperwork (greatest need), or physically hand out fans in boxes. Seated positions are available!
